Is there a way to create custom CR templates?
I'm not sure if this is possible or not, may be with some heavy workflow. But were looking at a way to create different CR templates based on Issue Type which is currently a custom field for us. I know you can set certain fields visible, required, etc based on User Group.
But is there a way to say have a Bug template for a "Feature" CR which is a project placeholder and then CRs for work tasks that are tied to that? Such as the individual bugs, etc tied to that parent case?
Where the CR with Issue Type = Feature, only has 3-4 fields such as Project Name, Feature Name, etc and then the work tasks have the standard defect fields such as Assigned to, target projects, etc. ?
I have not had much luck searching here or in QC help with the conditions have been searching by.

Yes, you can write workflow script to set a field as visible or required field based on the value selected in another drop down field.
you may need to write separate functions for each template and call them when a particular value is selected in a dropdown box.
