    Get Recursive List Of Requirements

    Hi!

I first want to thank everyone for the help. I'm new here.

I'm traing to retrieve a complete list of requirements "under" one ReqId in recursive mode. żDoes anybody knows how to do this?

    Example:
    a
    -a1
    -a2
    --a21
    b
    -b1

    List={a,a1,a2,a21,b,b1}

    Mi code is:

'This works but only form requirements with 'FATHER_ID=ReqID. Not recursive.
    Set ChildList = ReqFactory.GetChildrenList(ReqId)

' ERROR: This returns always 0
    Set ChildList = TDConnection.ReqFactory.GetTracedList(ReqId, 0)

' ERROR: This returns always 0
    Set ChildList = TDConnection.ReqFactory.GetTracedList(ReqId, 1)
    MsgBox(ChildList.Count)

    Thank you.

Re: Get Recursive List Of Requirements

    Hi Sr Out,

Are you trying to get this list in any specific format? Couldnt you just run an Excel report to get all requirement ids if all you need is simply an extensive list of requirements?

or are you trying to get this list in the workflow scripts and plan to subsequently use them in the workflow customization?

Re: Get Recursive List Of Requirements

    Hi!

    Thanks for your answer!

I am trying to pass values "x" that are a requirement to sub requirements in workflow under user demand (button)

In weekend i found that way:

    Function PutValues(ReqId, Proyecto)
    On Error Resume Next

    Dim tdc, rFactory, requirement
    Dim lstHijosCompleta
    Dim ChildList

    Set ChildList = TDConnection.ReqFactory.GetChildrenList(ReqId)

    For Each Req in ChildList
    'Aqui editamos los valores
    'req.Fields("") = Proyecto
    'req.Fields("") = Proyecto2 etc...
    PutValues Req.ID, Proyecto
    Next

    On Error GoTo 0
    End function

    Thank you!
