Access Violation in Module OTAClient.dll
While trying to log into Quality Center a user is getting the OTAClient.dll error. I have read other posts and it mention removing the /programfile/commonfile/MercuryInteractive/ directory and reload the app. We have tried clearing cache and starting from scratch but we still get the same error. We are using IE 6.0.290 SP2. Not sure what else to do. This just started.
Re: Access Violation in Module OTAClient.dll
If you have a service contract with HP, request the uninstaller application for the release you have. It's an executable that removes all the files and registry entries.
Then go to the add-ins and grab the client-side installer and run that locally. It should make sure all the files you need are there.
