i am trying to get the requirement id of the previous requirement visited during my last login session and trying to activate the same requirement when i login next time.
i am able to get the req id from the req table. but i dono how to activate or focus the requirement using the req id. can anyone help me out in this, stating what code i should write in the workflow script?
The req.id retrieval is relatively easy, but you would then have to execute that on exit of module and store it in a database field until you entered the module again.
Each field would have to be long enough to store multiple user variables as more than one user may select the same requirement before exit.
Each entry would need to be time stamped and then you would need to create a sophisticated search that would verify your username, and then your most recent actioned requirement.
Then you would need to action a get requirement action that would open the dialog. This in itself would be a complicated procedure.
A much easier/efficient option is just change your view to grid and ensure that the items you are working are the only ones visible when you exit, and when you return it will be the first requirement you see

The solutions provided are either sourced from my own scripting libraries or from a quick Google Search.
