I am doing Requirement Coverage Analysis for current project and have one query related to it. Any input from you would be helpful.
We have some scripts in N/A status. And the requirements which are mapped to these test scripts are displayed as “Not Completed” in Requirement Coverage Analysis. Entity Status for the test scripts mapped to requirements is displayed as “Not Completed” even though they are “N/A” in Test Lab. Any idea why coverage analysis showing this result? Or is it expected behavior of QC? As I am doing this first time I have no clue.
Let me know if I am missing on anything or some way by which I can make report look good.
It appears as though the Requirements Module doesnt like the "/" in N/A. If you create a value in the Status list such as "Not Applicable" or "Blocked" those appear in the Requirements Coverage Legend. However, if your test run is set to the new "Not Applicable" or "Blocked" values is shows as "Failed" in the Requirements Coverage....Good ole QC :-)
