Export from Excel - User-defined type not defined
I am using Quality Center 9.2 (30-day trial). I am trying to export requirements from Excel to Quality Center. Here's what I'm doing and the error that I'm getting.
1)In Excel, click on Tools->Export to Quality Center
2)Click Next to select Quality Center server to log in to
4)Select Domain and Project name
5)Select type of data you would like to export. I select Requirements.
6)Type a new map name. I type in a map name.
7)I then get the following Visual Basic error:
Compile error: User-defined type not defined.
The debugger takes me to PublicFunction GetRequirement Types (). It highlights the line:
"Dim custTypes As CustomizationTypes"
In my excel file, I have the following field/column names:

I figured it out. My 30-day trial was actually version 9.0. I had downloaded the Add-in for 9.2. Thus, it was referencing Requirements Types. Requirement Types were not introduced until 9.2. Thus, I removed the 9.2 Add-in using Add/Remove programs and then installed the 9.0 Add-in. That fixed it.
