Managing QC user sessions using the OTA

    Hi,

I'm using the QC OTA via QuickTest and have hit some problems with disconnecting my session. Assuming the QTP scripts executes successfully from start to finish, I encounter no problems. However, in the process of putting this script together I am inevitably encountering errors (especially since I am new to OTA), so often the scripts is terminated after a connection to QC has been made but before it has been disconnected. If I then login to QC using an admin account, I can see that this session is still open. Is there a way to automate a 'clean-up', so for example every time I run the QTP script, before connecting to QC it ensure that there are no connections already open (for the user I am logging in with)?

    Thanks,

    Tony

Re: Managing QC user sessions using the OTA

Assuming the entire QTP script executes start to finish then yes, the Disconnect method is used and everything works as expected. However the problem I have is when some sort of critical error occurs causing the run to stop (this happens quite a lot at the minute as I am debugging), before the Disconnect method has been called. The QTP script then stops and the reference to the TDConnection object is lost, leaving the connection active. I guess I am asking is there any way to get this reference back...?
