HP Quality center and QA testers
I am blackbox tester and trying to learn how to use Quality Center, QTP, Loadrunner. I do not write codes, not do I want to do it now. So my question is how can I find books, tutorials geared for qa testers who do not write codes? How can I learn workflow for QC nad QTP in particular? Is it possible to finf uncomplicated explanations geared toward my needs? Can I actually use QC QTP if I do not write code? What functions will I use? I was unsuccessful loading HP trial and their manual is geared for developers. Any resources? I cannot pay for expensive classes.
Re: HP Quality center and QA testers
Reqarding QC, I've been using it for about 20 months now at work. I have not needed to go into the workflow and update or create new code. I have simply been using what QC offers you off the bat.
Once you want to either alter, or expand the functionalities the basic QC offers you, then that's when you have to jump in to the code. That need hasn't arised for me yet.
I really haven't found any books out there that talk about Quality Center. All I've learned has been pretty much from HP's documentation, this forum and by hands-on.
