Can you please help in “How to maintain QC server and client” on daily/weekly basis?
I am very good on client/server side the project I am working on as QC admin.
Please let me know what basic stuff should I do in order to maintain QC, such as clean-up server, speedup QC, do I have to run QC checker if yes how often?
There is not much that you need to do to keep QC running smoothly. However from the security point of view I will advice you to take a regular backup of QC database and repository. Database includes both QC site admin and project database.
This will help you in getting the lost data from QC which might happen for any reason. Also if possible keep a backup server for QC(called a disaster recovery server) to ensure that if for any reason the production server goes down then you can direct users to backup server. Both production and DR servers should be a mirror image of each other, and should be in different geographical locations.
Also keep QC and SA logfiles in debug mode.

I would suggest to contact your database team to take a regular backup of QC database. Give them the details they require for the same.
For setting the logfiles in debug mode, follow the below steps,
Go to Site Administration-->Servers tab-->On the left hand side you will see QC and SA--> select each one after another--> on the right hand side you will have "Log file option"--> there you will have a field "Log Level"--> from the drop down menu select "Debug"-- do the same for both QC and SA.
