OTA: Datatype of GetField()
I am using the OTA of QC9.2 with Visual C++ (VS6). When I read a field of a test or so, I get a VARIANT type result, and the result can be of sevaral types. Normally, I can check the VARIANT type first and then read the respective portion.
In some cases (undeterministic), however, the VARIANT type is VT_EMPTY, but the result is correctly stored in the bstr portion. This makes it hard to build a generic reader...
1. Has someone encountered this, too?
2. Any workarounds to get the reliable data type?
