my organization recently decided to switch to HP testing tools and we're buying the whole suite: QC, QTP, and BPT module as well.
the tools have not been implemented yet (in purchasing process),
so I'm a very newbie in HP testing tools,
and my knowledge so far just from the eval and research.
there's a question came up in a meeting,
and hopefully I can find the answers here.
We're planning to implement the BPT module here,
so most of the test scripts will be based on BPT components.
is it possible to run the test scripts which is built in BPT model in another environment where there's only QTP available?
We have a 3rd party vendor who has QTP installed, but won't have access to our QC environment... so we're wondering if we could share our test scripts (which using BPT model) and get executed with their's QTP.
or maybe another word, is there some kind of feature (in QC?) where BPT-model test scripts can be "converted" to pure QTP code (along with OR, etc) which can be executed independently by a 3rd party?
