Using global Script files on QC9.2
i want to use global Script files on QC9.2.
Until now our company use TD8 SP2. There are a default folder _script and we use this instruction to access a global scriptloader on the server:
Function Project_CanLogin(DomainName, ProjectName, UserName)
On Error Resume Next
set td = TDConnection
Include td.DirectoryPath(0) & "\..\..\_scripts\globalModuleLoader.vbs"
After installing QC9.2 i dont find the _script folder. So i copy the _script folder from TD8 to the repository folder of QC9.2, release the repository folder in the network and use above mentioned instruction. When i logon on a QC9.2 Project then QC.9.2 is asking for the local directory of this client and not the server directory.
Can some one help me?
Re: Using global Script files on QC9.2
I found the reason.
During the install i selected the local Folder for the repository. So when i loggon on a project, then QC ask for the local Folder, which do not exist on the client machine.
Now a change the local Folder of the Repository in a network folder (e.g. \\qualitycenter\Repository) and give this repository free for modification for all users.
Now it works.
