Scheduling the Multiple Test Sets in QC

    Hi,

We are having multiple test sets in QC and we want to run these sets one after the other starting at the specified time.

Is there any option is QC to achieve this?

I know how to schedule single test set but i am not finding any option for multiple sets.

Any body came across this situation?

Re: Scheduling the Multiple Test Sets in QC

    Hi Vidya,

I dont think there is a facility in QC to run different Tets Sets at specific time.
But what you can do is select all the Tests from the Test Plan in one Test set and then you can schedule it accordingly.

Re: Scheduling the Multiple Test Sets in QC

There is no other way directly to do this.
One thing you can do is:

    1) Make a new Test Set.
    2) Import all the Tests in new TEst Set
    3) Go to Execution Flow tab
    4) For the second Test RIght Click and go to TEst Run schedule
    5) In Execution condition you can give condition that if test1 is finished start test 2.
    6) Go to Time dependency and mention the date and time.
    Regards
    Ashish

Thank you Ashish for your inputs.

But the client wants to track of which feature of the application failed and each test set results should be e-mailed automatically to responsible persons.
