    Microsoft Silverlight


    We've been heavily researching testing with Silverlight and as of yet there's really no automated answers. We delved into ThoughtWorks White framework and they suggested their product may work accompanied with UISpy, which is an object recognition tool by Microsoft, but we had no luck (check out White if you're working with WPF, it's really cool!).

    Anyone else looking at this? I'm going to start researching IMacros and see if it'll be a viable option for the timebeing.

    not doing it myself but there was a brief discussion on the MSDN tester forum about this, dont know if there's any new information there for you ?

    Thanks for the link. I saw that post and everywhere I look it says Silverlight 2 Beta 2 supports UI Automation, but I haven't been able to utilize it.

    Just an update on progress.. I am able to automate a button click on a Silverlight website. The object recognition tool we're using (UISpy) doesn't recognize other types of objects. I came across a blog posting that will hopefully put us on the right path to automating non-button controls:
