WHEN WE ARE UPDATING WOT ARE THE PROCEES GOING ON inner side
Re: patch and version
I can only say, huh? What are you asking?
Patch - a specifically focused set of code updates that will generate fixes for defects opened on certain issues (not this is very targeted). By release, to us this is the minor revision number, C in this case. A.B.C
Version - a general set of functionality that can update parts of the system, or whole aspects at once. This can also combine various patches previously released. By release this can be A if it encompasses large changes to the product (UI, workflows, etc.) or can be targeted and really updates some aspects but does not require a Customer to be retrained in any functionality in which case it is B in the revision scheme. A.B.C
Note, this is how it works where I am, your mileage may differ.
On what you update, well that depends on what the patch or version is updating and that you should find out from your Build Master or developers. Or you may need to rephrase your question, I am sort of guessing here.
