So that leaves Empirix concentrating on telecom tools (Hammer and its friends) and their call center stuff (which uses Hammer, if I understand correctly). I wonder if they'll revive Hammer as the company name?
Just as an amusing aside, I know one of the Senior Project managers at HP Australia, when he started (a few months back) he asked the Test Manager on the project if he used Quality Centre..... he said no !
As the old saying goes: "If your going to sell dog food you should at least know what it tastes like !"
It has been awhile but either Empirix licensed e-Tools or they licensed it out, because I remember doing a demo with another tool company that was exactly what Empirix had shown me. I did a few double takes since it was like deja vu all over again.
My company is big on the "dog food/kool aid" thing, we have multiple enterprise products from multiple divisions so we get quite a bit of free tools.
