It really depends on the project but the cost of quality on our last project was $3.67
I bought the team a 6-pack when we shipped so actually it was was closer to $10 dollars now that I think about it.
Reserve a few months every so often and preview retirement throughout your career. You won't regret that a 35 year career was reduced to 34 years to take vacations measured in months in order to remember what a stress and care-free life is all about.
Books and hard work will get you anywhere you want to go.
[ QUOTE ] sivakumar.venkatachalam: Actually the question was asked in the interview. ...
...Jakebrake, dont think as interview questions. ...
[/ QUOTE ]It is rather difficult for me to not think of it as precisely that! Is there another term given to a question asked in an interview??? Please for my benefit consider that I am already confused and baffled by the "smoke and sanity" question in the functional testing forum. With Everclear as a chaser, I am now taking drugs to help alleviate the trauma I suffered from that post. My dog refuses to speak with me because I changed his name to Diffytween. I now listen to country music backwards. I walk around with my navel exposed. Just yesterday with my navel exposed, I walked into a fast food joint and ordered a cheeseburger wrapped in strawberry shortcake. My socks do not match. What is worse, I don't care because I don't know what to do and I'm always in the dark. I'm living on a powder keg that's giving off sparks.
(Thank you Jim Steinman)
So, please avoid adding to my trauma. Thanks!
[ QUOTE ] sivakumar.venkatachalam: ... As of us common to all , you can tell your suggestions regarding the topics right. This will helpful to know this concept very well.
[/ QUOTE ]Yes you were given a suggestion. It was "right" and it was helpful! Might it be more helpful if you do your own research and find the answer(s) on your own?? Please take this next bit of information with you to the bank. We do not answer interview questions here. Your opinion will not change that fact. We believe that it is better for we and you, that we show you how to use the fishing pole. Then you catch the fish! In other words, do your own work. Perhaps you could simply tell the interviewer you do not know the answer to the question. This information will better prepare the interviewer for subsequent decisions that need to be based upon facts. You would want the interviewer to be informed with factual information - correct?? Would you like the interviewer to deceive you and give you information that is untruthful?
.You ask interviewer the working hours.
.The interviewer responds, "5 days per week, 8 hours per day. Any time beyond that is triple overtime pay."
.You say, "Circular!!!"
.You are hired.
.You discover quickly that the work schedule is a mandatory 50 hour week and no overtime pay.
.How do you then feel?
[ QUOTE ] sivakumar.venkatachalam: ...We are not going to do anything by replying the answer.
[/ QUOTE ]Well that is up to you. Hopefully you will do the right thing to become involved in this industry! You do your part and we here will do our part. For us, that means not answering interview questions.
[ QUOTE ] sivakumar.venkatachalam: ... Becoz the forum especially designed for sharing the inforamation only.
[/ QUOTE ]That is true. Perhaps it is better stated as follows: "Becoz the forum especially designed for sharing the inforamation only." The forum also expects that people do not come here to ask and expect answers to interview questions. The most fundamental skills required of a test engineer are resourcefulness and integrity.
[ QUOTE ] sivakumar.venkatachalam: ... Becoz the forum especially designed for sharing the inforamation only. so why cant you think this point of view.
[/ QUOTE ]My point of view is based upon what is required to keep this forum in line with its standards and not the dissatisfaction of an individual who refuses to understand the true nature of this forum.
Thank you for your concerns. It is hoped that you will soon understand the requirements of a good SQA Forum citizen. Your progress in that direction will be tracked and you will be provided with feedback appropriately. That is a nice gesture on the part of the volunteers here, is it not?
PS: Remember! The only one preventing you from using the search engine, reading, and studying - is you!
