So, I was in the midst of responding to a post in the Automated Testing forum regarding the installation of Perl on Windows XP. Lo and behold, when it came time to post my reply, I received that wonderful message that the post did not exist anymore. (I forget the exact message.)
So, I rooted around and noticed that the post had been moved to the General Discussion forum. Scratched my head a little and decided to start this thread.
So, where do posts on Perl/Ruby/similar belong? Personally, I think they belong in the Automated Testing forum. Or, do certain aspects of these languages belong in one forum over another?
I see Ruby questions in three different forums. I see Perl questions in a number of different forums as well.
Shouldn't there be some consistency in there somewhere? (Maybe this is where I reiterate my thoughts on having an "Open Source" forum where Perl and Ruby would be more at home.)
