in the validation model ,if we found an error in the User acceptance Testing..,[i.e.., in the final stage of testing] that error was undiscovered by any test case... how can we rectify that that error..??
Moving on, and barely resisting the temptation to get into error vs. bug vs. defect , you ask how to RECTIFY the error. That is a programming/development task and outside the scope of these forums.
It depends on what the user did to get the error/dug/defect/fault/issue/failure/problem.
If no test case took into account that they entered a nine digit zip code, then you need to go back and resolve that.
But, if no test case took into account that the user might be running on Windows 3.11, when they were told in advance that the product has a minmum requirement of Windows 95, then you might want to select a different user for your acceptance test, one that can RTFM.
