Re: Difference b/w SDLC and software Development Life Cycle
System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is the overall process of developing information systems through a multistep process from investigation of initial requirements through analysis, design, implementation and maintenance. There are many different models and methodologies, but each generally consists of a series of defined steps or stages.
The software developement life cycle (SDLC)is a general model of the software development process, including all the activities and work products required to develop a software system.
You will find that there is no clear deffinition of the latter as everyone seems to have their own deffinition of the lifecycle but in general they are expressive of the same concepts.
