Let's assume software code is tested everytime code is written. Is there a need to test the software when it is tested at the time of coding? Insuch a case, what is the future of software testing?

Shiva, have a look at the V-Model (or V-Model XT). It will explain you that there are different types and stages of testing and that each type of testing has a different scope. And that one single type of testing cannot cover all testing concerns.
