    Virtual PC for Localization testing

Did any of you use the virtual PC of Microsoft for testing purposes?
Can you tell me where I can find people who used it (except the info that Microsoft is publishing)?
I am testing elearning product that has many localized OS as for now I am using ghost, but I heard that the Virtual PC is much better, (no need to install drivers when you switch to another computer and so on)

Virtual PC works well for us, but I did have one system that crashed every time I ran it. I would highly recommend using it. Just make sure that you have plenty of RAM.

Re: Virtual PC for Localization testing

I use MS-Virtual PC 2004 for various things. I have WinXP Pro, Windows 2000 Server and Windows 2003 Server setups running off of my WinXP laptop.

I do this for demo purposes for the Mercury tools my company supports and consult on.

This situation works great. One thing to realize is that it will eat up disk space as the virtual harddisks can get big (I have one Win2003 Server with Topaz/SiteScope that is about 8 Gig), and that you will need lots of RAM (I run 1 Gig in my laptop and partition ~725 Meg to my VM).
