I have no knowledge about QA Testing but I want to get into this field.And I don't have any idea as how to start the preparation.I would really appreciate if some one help me out by telling the procedure for a beginner to start with what and how.That would be a great help for me.
I would suggest you check out a few books on the subject like "Software Testing In The Real World" by Edward Kitt, "How to Break Software" by James Whittaker, "Managing the Testing Process", 2nd Edition by Rex Black, and "Systematic Software Testing" by Rick Craig/Stefan P. Jaskiel. These are all excellent books. Also you should get acquainted with some of the web sites like stickyminds.com Once you have absorbed all this knowledge go find a job as a software tester and get some actual experience.
The ISEB course may also be useful, I only know about UK based course's but a google search on ISEB may throw up some useful resources.
It is an Internationally recognised QA qualificvation and I see a lot of employers are asking for it.
