I hope someone can answer my question.
How would you use XML in Quality assurance.
I know XML stands for Extensible Markup lang but how mcuh of it is used when testing a product. What is a QA person required to know about XML ?
If the product uses XML you will of course be expected to test it. Also, it's a decent data storage mechanism for test automation.
With the increasing use of XML for data transfer testers will be called on more often to be able to test it.
If you're a slave to your free associations, does it automatically become something else?
XML is being extensively used by Java applications, web applications and any applications where a transfer of data is required.
There is even a test plan tool http://xtp.free.fr/Eng.html that is based on XML.
