Could anyone please provide some SQA job titles and their corresponding descriptions/ duties.
I agree that many QA titles do not fit. However, I am trying to put together a list of differing levels of SQA titles and their responsibilities so that we can implement them in HR. Hopefully if this gets enough quality responses it will benefit many of us testers/SQA/engineers...
I will appreciate all post and welcome all who would like to post the WISH LIST of what they would like to see for titles and descriptions.

Yes I have looked at the jobs link but many of the listings do not include an HR sort of description. Rather, they contain requirements detail that describes specific to the job; i.e.languages, etc. What is lacking from that forum is a delineation between levels of qa persons. Most typically I found just a general title with a description of what was needed but without a delineation of QA1, QA2, or whatever else. I did see some relatively ambiguous uses of 'Senior' and the like. But again, I did not see a sort of road map that describes general responsibilities and requirements of a QA set/group.
Rich W had a great start but I was hoping for the descriptions to match.
I do not want to sound ungrateful but I am hoping someone can do more than point me toward an abyss.
Again, all help is welcome. But since I am a novice in the description department I am looking for someone who can confidently lay out a road map as to what I am asking.
I wonder if it might be better to email some actuals to you since the volume of text for the various titles could be quite large? Are you up to putting your email address in your profile or just email to me at the addr located in my signature?
I have a couple close by and can easily access a few others.
Its not just HR, every company has it own terms and culture. One place I worked used the term Intergrataon Acceptance Testing. Apparently while a system is being integrated, they could do the user accptance at the same time.
