I want to know how the resume of tester should look like. What are the things it should cover.Which things a tester should never miss in his bio data? Because if u talk abt the testing types performed the resume becomes very repeatative. So how should the template of resume should look like?
Thanks in advance
We have about three threads covering this topic right now... One in Automated testing, one in General Discussion and one in Chit-chat (I think). I'd find the links for you, but I am all Nyquil headed this morning, and probably have no right typing in the first place.
I used the search tool and typed in the word 'resume' and it gave me back the maximum of 200 hits.
If you're looking simply for a template, MSWord has fine templates. If you're looking for what to put in your resume, put in what you know. make it simple, and remember that the first page needs to have a summary of your experience. If that doesn't catch their eye, they won't read any further.
Something that you say or do today will make a difference to someone else.
Make it a GOOD thing!

No wonder you did not find it cause its not in "General Description" its in "General Discussion" Well jokes apart, try out the Top, Right Hand Corner nook. The "Search" feature. The string "Resume" alone gets a lot of hits.
You may find a lot of topics which cover somewhat the same topic. Also some other interesting ones.
I almost forgot abt the search engine there. Yes, I typed the word 'resume' and got lot of threads but most of them were not regarding resume writing. Can you try to include some sample resumes in this site which will be very useful for all of us.
