pls help on component level testing VC++ DLL/OCX...
Very glad to join this wonderful forum!
I'm told to do some "component level" testing of VC++ DLLs and ActiveX controls(not very big project). I have no much idea on that, as I only have some experience of system level testing(manual and auto). I'm not bad at VB, Java, C and TCL programming. Any idea from you is very much appreciated:
- how to start?
- how to write test plan for it?
- any good tool? should I develop it myself?
- any other tricky things/experience?
Thanks for your time!

- White-Box Testing (thrue a debugger....)
- SourceCode Review
- Programming Rules
- Bounds-Cheking (overflow etc)
- Look & Feel
- Corperate Identity
I would do it with some developer tools, for the performance one, i think there should be some tools arround (i know only the numega one's).
Do you have a clear defined boarder against the testing task's from the developers?
