Does anyone know about or even heard of a tool that can compare two databases? We're looking for something that can hit each and every table of identically structured databases and return any and all differences in data. This would mainly be used after smoke tests, but would likely also need to be used for smaller tests on individual tables. Any direction would be appreciated.
Computer Associates has a tool called DecisionBase that has a bundled tool
called "Mapper" that allows two databases to be mapped and can compare two
data structures and produce "difference" output.
