Need help for Selenium Grid Concept
Hope you are fine.
I set up selenium grid environment in my system and when i compiled hub, only node1 was executing and the node2 was not running.
And my question is whether GRID is used to run in single system at a time or multiple system ?? if multiple system mean why its not running in node2.
If anyone know please explain.
Thanks in Advance
2 things you'll want to check by going to your management console, http://yourhub:4444/grid/console

Selenium GRID Run your tests against different browsers, operating systems, and machines all at the same time. Ensure that the application you are testing is fully compatible with a wide range of browser-O.S combinations.
Ensure that your grid is configured correctly.
Both nodes are accessible.
We can add a Windows/Internet Explorer node to the Hub in two ways. First, supplying all the
options as command line parameters described as follows:
1. To start and register a node to the Hub, use the following command by specifying
browser type, version, platform, hostname, and port as arguments:
java -jar selenium-server-standalone-2.25.0.jar -role webdriver
-browser "browserName=internet explorer,version=8,maxinstance=1,pl
atform=WINDOWS" -hubHost localhost –port 8989
I am working in software testing services and used seleniumgrid .
