What do I do if I'm too embarrassed to ask questions at work
Sometimes I'm afraid to ask questions at work because people will think I'm stupid, what do i do?
My ASQ Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE) Certification training batch is starting on July 11 2016. Details and 6 VERIFIABLE RECOMMENDATIONS for my training at www.facebook.com/PickTechnologies
Get over it. If you can't find the answer yourself and are too afraid to ask you will fail at the task and just end up being fired.
There are no stupid questions. Just don't ask the same one over and over.
To be very true your answer is awesome.

Many answers, some might apply.

Should you know the answers? But you decided not to pay attention during that meeting?
You could apologize ahead of time, "I should know this, but..."
Or when you get the answer and it was really easy and you should have known it, say you already knew that and ask something more complicated.
Make sure to keep all emails and file them such that you can look up answers or study as much as you can about the question before asking.
Or is it the work environment that is hostile?
