Expensive third party test transactions, company names?
During the testing phases we sometimes have to deal with third party APIs that are not free to use. I have seen several APIs where you have to pay for test transactions. For example: while running my NFT tests against one of the fraud prevention systems we have to per per each test transaction.
I have got a solution for that problem as well. We stub out that third party system for the NFT phase.
I would like to reach out to people in my home town (London) that have had similar problems and compare notes.
Do you know where could I find a list of APIs (company names) that charge for test test HTTP transactions? Do you know any companies like that?
That way I can start looking for people that use those companies' APIs.
I've never encountered that. But there are a number of free mocking tools that would allow you to simulate such a call at no cost.
Thanks for the prompt response. Could you name a few of those tools you have in mind please?

In the past I've used Mockery and one other I can't recall now. But there are many of them.
