Manual Testing Software
Can anyone suggest any good manual testing softwares besides QC?
I am trying to implement one for work, and QC is not compatible with our settings.
Not sure what you mean by 'manual testing softwares'
If you are referring to 'Test Management Tools', you can try Rational Quality Manager(RQM). But don't just go for any testing tool, without doing proper research against your needs for that particular tool.
Test Manager is a nice tool. It integrates with Team Foundation Server.
You can also try the tool we develop, it is called PractiTest and it provides a good solution to manage your test cases and their execution.
Even though it supports the whole lifecycle of your testing and bug tracking, it can also integrates nicely with other systems such as Jira or Bugzilla; and even integrate with most automation tools such as Selenium, QTP, Test Complete, etc...
In short, I am biased, but still suggest you take a look at it - SaaS Test Management Tool and QA Management Tools - PractiTest
The most common term for a collection of test cases is a test suite.
I advice you to try Squash TM, which is an open source tool for test repositories management. Natively "multi" and "cross" projects, it can manage all testing stages, from requirements management to campaigns execution.
Based on an ergonomic and intuitive interface, Squash is also "full web" making it an easy tool to deploy.
