    Storing great threads

This situation has occurred many times during the previous year that I have been on this forum.

I read a thread that I know I will need in the future. How do I make some kind of pointer to find my way back? Do I have to record the author, date and topic and maybe tags?

Is there a way to store favorite threads?

    Thanks,

    Kevin

You could like it and then you could view through likes given in your profile. Plan B, save as a favorite in your browser.
Patience is like bread I say.... I ran out of that yesterday.

Yeah you just described browser favorite functionality.

You can subscribe to the thread - Thread Tools - Subscribe to this Thread. Then under quick links up top you can see all subscribed threads. Though that will contain all threads you have replied to if you have that setting set.

Incidentally it appears that the settings link up top is broken.

    genke,
Maybe I should make a folder named SQAForum articles in favorites. Then keep dropping threads I like in the folder.

I wish the Forum would have a storage are for us. It could point to threads and have an edit box that we can put notes in for each one.
    Thanks,
    Kevin

    NoUse4aName,
I have thread tools set to "On".
I don't really know what it does.
    Thanks,
    Kevin
