I just want to know what you all think of what the software industry would look like in 2020 (this is not limited to software testing).
Do you feel we require lot less people to code more.
Will companies be equally wanting to move to new and newer technologies or will be stay with at a certain point and say it enough.
Job market scenario, more competition?

I'd personally like to see the resulting test artifacts for the QA that was performed on creating this calendar and seeing exactly where in the PRD the PM intentionally wanted this to be the end of days...
Just to calm down your envy to fill your bunker with canned food, they found out that there was an error while reading the Mayan calendar and that it actually ends in 2116 so, sorry if you already committed the irreversible.
And as I answered on the post asking the same thing but in a different way, I think that communication will evolve and people will grow up and starts businesses specialized in software testing. And software developer will do business with them because they won't want to deal with the future rules, guidelines and laws about software quality.
