Are there any opensouce Test Case management tools
Sorry if this question has been asked before, I tried searching but to no avail. The other question on this forum about Test Management tool didn't help much either.
What I'm looking for is a tool (preferably web-based and preferably opensource) that lets me write my manual test scripts, keeps track of which release those were used for, who (tester) ran the scripts, which parts of the scripts failed, how to verify bug fixes etc. I have been searching the web for such a tool but have not been able to find any. I mean I have come across a couple but they were either too expensive or desktop apps. Do any of you know of such an app that does all the above and are web-based? I think if it comes down to it we'll still be open to getting a desktop app (at a reasonable price) with floating licenses.
I appreciate all your help.
Re: Are there any opensouce Test Case management tools
We do all our testing manually so I guess Bromine is out of the question. As for Testopia, would I need to download Bugzilla for it? We use a different software for our bug tracking.
Thanks for the input, I'm actually in the process of evaluating Testlink at the moment but wanted to see if there are more tools out there or not.
