Any experiences working with *in Australia?
I had a recruiter call me about a 6 month contract role with <name removed now that many know> on some banking integration testing. The money seems reasonable and the buzz words for the work fit me quite well and the work is for a bank I once worked for doing administration type work so I know some of their systems already.
But <name removed now that many know> is a big unknown for me. From some quick research online their staff or ex-staff report lots of management issues, comments about slave driving, etc.
Has anyone has any dealings with them in Oz? Any comments from overseas people welcome too?
I am planning on going into the interview armed with questions about issues with cultural differences, management styles as well as the usual test estimation, planning, project approach and work styles and structures questions.
Sometimes there's a buggy. How many drivers does a buggy have? So let's just say that I'm driving this buggy, and if you fix your attitude, you can ride along with me. -The Cowboy, Mulholland Drive http://www.sqablogs.com/metalbaby/
Re: Any experiences working with Infosys in Australia?
I see symptoms associated with posts here. Those symptoms do not paint a good picture. I see symptoms of:
1. possible ethics violations
2. slave driving
3. little care for the individual
4. much care for $$ without regard to the individual helping them achieve their $$ goals.
But hey - if you need $$ - go for it. You alone won't change their culture.
