A strange logging behavior
Actually i couldn't find out where i can post this question, so i have chosen the general form.
We have a web application. it is a 3 tiers application
GUI (GWT based)
Business (EJB layer)
and communicator between both.
we use oracle application server 10g. a web cache functionality in the application server is enabled.
now here is the situation:
Suddenly we can find some of our customers can't login using their saved user names and passwords. when we try to log in using the same info, it works ! it is worthy to be mentioned that our server is not a part of our internal network. the problem is always solved when we restart web cache.
What may causes this to be happened? why the same login information can pass from site, and fail in another one? is it the web cache? or it might be something in the application itself?
Has anyone a similar experience?
Re: A strange logging behavior
Looks like a name resolution issue. It could be a firewall or as simple as a portal config issue. Look for troubleshooting guides.
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B...5/cg_app_k.htm is an example.
