Good Morning to all. I am just got assign a task to prepare test execution report. Since i am a fresher i have no idea about it.Any how i manage some of the thing in Test Execution report[img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]. But i am not sure about two thing in test execution report. There are two fields called test iteration and test cycle.Please let me know what is the difference between test iteration and test cycle. Actually, to be safe, I would ask your supervisor about it. The test cycle could just be a number indicating if you are in the first cycle or second cycle or whatever. Though more probably it indicates the actual phase which the testing is in. Like QA or QC Acceptance, Smoke testing, Functional testing, Feature testing, User acceptance and so forth. The iteration probably is a number indicating how many times the application has been through that specific teat phase or cycle. Then again, the person who created the form may have had an entirely different idea of what is meant, so best find out for sure from someone who knows at your location.
