    Re: Green Box testing

    Never heard of it.

Why post this in the TestPartner forum and not one of the general testing ones?

    No.

It's the wrong answer to a multiple-choice question. (the right answer is "white box" and/or "black box", depending on the question).

You might be right Olav. I mean Environmental Testing had already been taken, so how else could you put it and mean it was environmentally friendly except Green Box Testing? Bravo! lol

    Re: Green Box testing

When I saw the term I assumed it meant testing using terminal emulators to verify that a mainframe is behaving as expected inside the "black box."

    Re: Green Box testing

So in this case would the green be referring to the interface of the mainframe? Mmmmmmmm, monochrome.

    Re: Green Box testing

I've never heard of it before either. Perhaps we can give it a definition.

<font color="green">Green Box testing means that one is testing for code that is unreachable. The fact that the code is unreachable means that the code may be getting moldy. Hence the word "green". </font>
