The product I am testing exports files in various formats.
Rather than use the same value for the file name, is there some way to use the seconds from midnight as a var/file name?
This way I don't ever have to worry about the windoze "you want to replace file blah with blah" messags.
Thanks in advance.

If you are using VB then you culd use gettickcount which would give u a unique value everytime.Append this with some string say file + gettickcount() to get the value.
Are you sure on GetTickCount() function available in VB? I never heard or used such function. Even I tried this in VB 6, its not there. Which version of VB has this function?
You can create unique file names with current date and time value with following VBScript Code
var = InputBox("Test","Test","FileName" & Month(Now) & Year(Now) & Hour(Now) & Minute(Now))
Just copy/paste new file name from this input box.
Hope this works for you.
Its an API call declared in kernel32 which i normally use in most of my vb scripts sorry didnt mention that.
