Definition of \"Function\"
When testers talk about a "function" (as in functional testing) which do they mean:
* A design-oriented function such as a module, unit, component, or even a end-user button on the application's interface.
* A Systems Analyst's logically-derived function such as an end-user's essential business task (whether currently automated or not).
Test cases can be created for either; however, they will be largely different between them.
Re: Definition of \"Function\"
In functionality testing we are talking about the functionality not the function. Different functios might be related to this functionality. This functionality is explained in the functional requirements document. So please don't confuse between these two words Functionality and Function.
