I mean not general information, but on the practice, what should I do step by step?
Thank You beforehand!!!!
Going to be blunt, maybe you should get some SQA training.
Rather a large question?
Passed the Microsoft Virtual Academy course on SQL Azure now doing the Windows Azure course. www.robertbroadhurst.com
I would suggest you make a list of all functions and features in the application you are to test. Then decide what you need to do to test each function or feature. That will get you started in the right direction.
Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm.

May be in simple words-
1. Understand the function of business
2. Prepare flow chart & get it approved from BA
3. pepare test case with expected results
Now you are ready for functional test...
The name itself suggests that you will first have to understand the functionality/behaviour of the application under test.
Validate with peers that your understanding of the app functionality is clear
write the testplan/testcases & have them reviewed with stake-holders
Perform testing & raise bugs
Finally, you may also want to explore & identify an automation tool to help in the functional testing, based on the type of product you work for.
In functional testing methods are used the techniques of black box
- Equivalence class - Equivalence Partition. (+ limit value analysis)
- state transition.
- decision tables.
