    Re: SaaS Testing

    Our Test Management System is SaaS so we are very familiar with the subject.

    I wrote a short introduction on the subject in this post in my blog: http://qablog.practitest.com/2009/03...s-qa-platform/

    Feel free to ask any more specific questions if you have them.

    Re: SaaS Testing

    Thanks Hafees. But I had already gone through the wikipedia, it just give the overview of what is SAAS model. It neither elaborates it in detail nor explains what SAAS testing is...

    Re: SaaS Testing

    Hey Joel,

    Thnks a lot. The link, http://qablog.practitest.com/2009/03...s-qa-platform/ is really helpful. But do you have some more detailed information on SAAS model & how to test the same?

    Re: SaaS Testing

    SAAS => website

    So SAAS testing is essentially the same as web application testing, or?

    Re: SaaS Testing

    SaaS is more of a deployment model than a development model, so I would think testing would be around the delivery of an applicatin over the internet. It might include testing the webui also, but the backend business logic is no different just because it's a SaaS application.

    Re: SaaS Testing

    Saas means that the software platform is hosted and managed by the vendor and users simply open their browsers and connect to the application from anywhere in the World.

    Actually,Saas testing is not that different from normal application testing.
