E&M immediate start signalling on Spirent Abacus
Let me know if I'm posting to the wrong forum. This is telecom related.
Just wondering if anyone here is familiar with using the Spirent Communications' Abacus CO switch / bulk call generator or other similar test tool like Hammer FX TDM.
On the Abacus1 platform, it supports E&M immediate start signaling for T1 CAS digital trunking. But in the software interface to Abacus, there are two selections:
"E&M immediate start" and "E&M Immediate Start (Cisco 2600)". I looked at the software help and documenation but that didn't really help in explaining the two options.
So I was wondering if anyone knows what's the difference between a basic/standard version of E&M immediate start and the Cisco 2600 version.
