Productivity value for Java Swing and C#
Can anybody please share your experience of productivity values for a Java Swing and/or C# standalone UI based application development? Or any industry standard available? It will help me in estimating if I have an idea what range the values can vary. Based on some study, I found that, generally the values vary between 15 to 21 LOc/Hr, of course, considering different parameters involved in estimating.

I don't know of any official numbers, but you have to consider other factors as well:
1. The usability of the result (since it is a GUI).
2. The availability of of-the-shelf UI components.
3. The flexibility of the UI framework.
All these questions rely on the most important question of them all: What are you trying to achieve.
You should first set your goals for a concrete application, and then seek for the right tool to implement it...
