Testing on Gantt Charts vs Reality
All the time I receive the docs from manager of developers where testing is planned as one phase. For example on Gantt Charts it's shown as - Development, Testing, Bugfixing.
But in reality it takes at least 2-3 circles of testing and bugfixing.
Should I ask manager to describe it in the docs accordingly?
Re: Testing on Gantt Charts vs Reality
In most cases I've seen, Testing and Bugfixing were identified as parallel activities, and often overlapping Development as well.
I'd not want to predict how many "circles" would be needed ahead of time.
But also, in most cases I've seen, these Gantt Charts were just pretty pictures, and often didn't reflect reality.
