I have to provide estimation for different phases in testing cycle.
Is there any standard available for the number of test cases to be executed in 1 Person day?
like we have coding standards or review standards.
Depends on the size of the test case, the complexity, etc. There is no standard that I know of. I have had days where I can execute 15-20 small test cases in the day, and I have had days where I could only get through 1/2 a test case becaues it was so large and complex.
I'm wondering where your coding and review standards come from? Are they picked up like that from the internet of from some other source, or are they based on years of experience of your own company? If they come from your own company, I'm sure they are rather accurate, if not, I have some doubts on their accuracy.
