As most of you know TestTrack Pro is a fairly good defect tracking system. The downside of TTP is that it is a fairly good defect tracking system. It is not a project tracking system, which it never claims to be. My question is does anyone have any suggestions of project tracking software that has bi-directional integration to TTP?
I know Rally has an integration Hub but it is wildy expensive.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Re: Project Tracking integration into TestTrack Pro
You know, you're probably right, it might not be the best for tracking the project itself. However, I wouldn't be surprised if you could do it. We use TTP also, and we've set up a custom project to track our inventory, using a custom setup including options to allow people to check items out of inventory and return them when they're done.
I'm certain that a custom project could be set up to do something similar for you. I think that all the tools are there it's just a matter of getting it so it flows correctly. I mean project items, really, are just timed events, and that can be done in TTP. I wouldn't be surprised if you could do this in a separate project.
