A tool worth looking at is Gemini by countersoft.
is free and is built on ASP.NET, C# & SQL Server.
Has pretty nice reporting features. The one feature a like it that the issues can be linked to vss, e.g. QA reports a bug, developer checkouts the file to fix the bug and can automatically link that file from vss to keep a record in the ticket.
Well I have assigned the task to identify a tool for the current project i am working on. Currently, the project is development phase but i finalized BugTracker over Elips cuz of 1 main reason. Customized Reports. BugTracker's this feature is really smart.
I used it a bit and found it handy enough to use and didn't encountered any problem while evaluating it. So let's hope no problem pops-up n future
Hi QA guys,
Let me some good free Bug Tracking Tools, which you used as internet as well as intranet version.
It should have option to analyze the project through graphs issue wise(new, open, resolved, reopen and closed), version wise, priority wise and should provide a piechart to know the open and close issues at a glance.
Incase of a internet version, it should trigger a mail to the developer once a bug has been listed.
Most of features are there is bugtracker. But we are looking for a package which covers all the features.
Your feedback will help us to find a suitable bug tracking tool.
