We're not currently using a defect tracking tool so I've spent the last few weeks doing research on different tools. I've done countless Google searches, read through the various forums here and have looked at products that other people have mentioned.

My main needs for this product is that it is web based, uses SQL Server, is very flexible so that I can configure it to meet our internal process and also that I can give our clients access to view issues relating to their projects, without them seeing issues for other clients. There isn't a specific budget, but the cheaper the better.

One product that meets these needs is Defect Manager from Tierasoft, however I haven't come across any threads that recommend this product.

If anyone has used it in the past, I would really appreciate your opinions on how good/bad you think it is
